FAQ: How does the recruitment process work?
Answer: There are two rounds of recruitment; the rounds range from casual to formal, from theme-centered to philanthropy centered, with the whole goal being to allow the prospective men to get to know the brothers and vice versa. Normally, there is a general information session at the beginning of each semester that allows men to meet all of the fraternities. The following week, which is Round 1, primarily consists of meetings with each fraternity; prospective members are encouraged to attend most if not all of these so they get to know all of the men out there. Please visit the Villanova Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life website to get some standard advice for the 'rush,' or recruitment, period. We at Sigma Nu highly encourage all prospective members to 'rush' or get to know all of the fraternities sponsored by Villanova. We believe that is the best way to determine if fraternal life is for you and which organization is best for you.
