****Highest GPA (3.22) among all Villanova fraternities - Spring 2007****

The Kappa Zeta chapter of Sigma Nu Fraternity understands and believes that academics should be, by far, a student's top priority while at Villanova University.  Stemming from our principle of honor, we strive to achieve the very best we possibly can inside the classroom.  Our efforts are reflected in our admirable GPA's as we have maintained a chapter average that is essentially identical to the cumulative men's GPA (those not in a fraternity) and the cumulative fraternity GPA.  Furthermore, we earned the highest GPA on Villanova's campus out of all the fraternities!

Throughout our New Member Education Program, we require all new members to attend weekly study hours.  By setting aside time each week in our candidate program, we have been able to foster and enrich the classroom education of each and every new member.  Several of our men have even earned higher grades during the semester in which they are new members, especially due to the focus of time management skills.

Of course, since we want to see everyone succeed in our fraternity, for current brothers who might be struggling with their studies our Scholarship Chairman will facilitate study hours or make the necessary referrals to on-campus resources.  Many of our brothers who share the same major have helped each other, and this only encourages further growth and brotherhood in the chapter.
