        We, the Sigma Nu Fraternity at Villanova, have an exciting and reasonable social scene.  Every semester, we have several date events that include having dinner with our dates and then going to an after-gathering of some kind.  We have theme events at our various locations (on-campus dorms and apartments and off-campus houses and apartments) which are always fun since they allow everyone to be creative with their costume or outfit. 

        Each semester, we also plan several bigger functions that we refer to as ticket events (mainly because a ticket is needed for entrance).  We explore a variety of venues in Philadelphia and around Villanova.  We have strong ties with the Sigma Nu chapter at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and often hang out with the guys there in their beautiful chapter house. 

        At Sigma Nu, we have strict policies regarding alcohol and safety, all of which falls under the term we use known as Risk Reduction.  At every social function, we always have several brothers who do not drink at all and serve as safety monitors and designated drivers.  We work hard as a team to foster a joyful and entertaining social experience but at the same time, safety propels itself as our top priority.
